Nantwich Town’s first home game didn’t disappoint a near full capacity crowd as they cruised to a 3-0 win over Stalybridge Celtic.

Nantwich Town supersub Callum Saunders smashed in a hat-trick to help beat their League One neighbours Crewe Alexandra.
Dave Cooke’s Dabbers started fiercely with an attack in the first minute of the game, which due to miscommunication between the Crewe defender and keeper, nearly ended up in the back of the net.
Nantwich Town were held to a 0-0 stalemate at Gainsborough Trinity as striker Callum Saunders saw red in the final minutes.
The Dabbers were marginally the better side in a drab festive affair.

An inspired goalkeeping display from Fabian Spiess and two goals from Callum Saunders saw Nantwich Town progress in the Cheshire Senior Cup after an excellent 2-1 win over Crewe Alexandra.
A Steve Jones header in the 92nd minute clinched a dramatic win for Nantwich Town in their opening Evo-Stik Premier League clash at home to Gainsborough Trinity.
The Dabbers secured all three points when Jones popped up in the box to head home in injury time at the Weaver Stadium.
