Rugby playing brothers from Nantwich are celebrating double success – after being picked for England! Ben and Tom Curry, who play for the U16s for Crewe & Nantwich RUFC, were selected to play for England U16s after another great club season.
Crewe & Nantwich RUFC coach Andy Brown admitted they were beaten by a “better team” after the 1sts crashed to defeat at Leek. The Vagrants side were humbled by the league leaders 29-0. It was only Crewe & Nantwich’s third defeat of the league campaign.

Crewe & Nantwich RUFC coach Andy Brown believes the 1st team could be playing National League rugby in two years. Brown hailed a stunning first half of the season for the Vagrants team which saw them top Midlands 2 West (North) at Christmas.

Crewe & Nantwich RUFC powered to an impressive 44-15 victory away at Ramsey to stay hot on the heels of league leaders Oswestry. It was a tight affair on the Isle of Man until C&N pulled away in the final quarter of the game with three unanswered tries.
