Nantwich Food Festival’s pre-Christmas “Drop-off and Go” collection in aid of Nantwich Foodbank has been hailed a big success.
A team of Festival volunteers were given support by Joelle Warren MBE DL (Vice Lord Lieutenant of Cheshire) and Nantwich Mayor Cllr Peter Groves and his wife and Consort, Carol.
Nantwich Food Festival volunteers are to stage a spring “Drop-off and Go” collection event in aid of Nantwich Foodbank at Brine Leas School.
Residents can drop off donations at Brine Leas car park on Saturday March 27 between 10am-1pm.
The latest ‘Drop-Off & Go’ Collection in aid of Nantwich Foodbank will take place at Nantwich Town FC on Saturday September 5.
Residents can turn up between 11am and 1pm at the Weaver Stadium on Waterlode to donate a range of products.
The RSPCA wildlife centre in Nantwich is thanking supermarket customers for donating £5,000 worth of pet food in just 12 months.
Sainsbury’s, on Middlewich Road, has a drop-off point in the store for people to donate cat and dog food to Stapeley Grange Wildlife Centre & Cattery.
Parents parking in and around Wistaston’s Berkeley Academy will have a new drop-off point for their children to help resolve parking problems.
The primary school has recently received planning approval from Cheshire East Council to replace its existing buildings.
