Fire crews had to tackle a blaze in a Nantwich home caused by a dishwasher. Crews from Nantwich and Crewe were called out to a kitchen fire at a house on the Cronkinson Oak estate.

Fire crews were called out to a chimney blaze at a house in Buerton, Nantwich. They they arrived at the scene on Woore Road, the blaze had been put out.
Woman injured in car accident in Aston Juxtra Montrum
A woman was injured after her car crashed in Aston Juxtra Montrum, near Nantwich. Fire crews from Nantwich and Crewe were called out to the scene of the accident on Dairy Lane. Firefighters had to cut free the woman from her saloon car. Her injuries were not thought to be serious.
