Cheshire East Council has launched its Christmas campaign to recruit much needed foster carers.

The festive appeal centres around a one-minute film called ‘Wish for you the world’ where a child is welcomed into a family at Christmas time.

Anxious cats at Nantwich RSPCA centre seeking new homes

Two anxious moggies found under floorboards of a house are seeking new homes after being nursed back to health by staff at RSPCA Stapeley Grange in Nantwich.

Named after Star Wars characters, Luke (left) and Leia have come on leaps and bounds with foster carers and a stay at the Nantwich cattery on London Road.
