Plans for up to 29 holiday lodges at a marina site near Nantwich have been recommended for approval.
Church Minshull Aqueduct Marina Limited wants to change the use of agricultural land so the lodges and a manager’s cabin can be provided on the site, which is on the Middlewich branch of the Shropshire Union Canal.

Cheshire East has given the go-ahead for holiday lodges in open countryside near Nantwich despite one resident arguing if this site is appropriate then any rural location will be acceptable.
The five lodges will be sited on land at Fletchers Pool off Bridgemere Lane at Hunsterson.

Plans to expand a fishery and leisure park near Nantwich to create a new lake and 19 holiday lodges have been recommended for approval despite parish council objections.
Coole Acres Fishery and Leisure Park at Newhall has applied to Cheshire East Council for permission to remodel hatchery ponds to create a new lake and to use land for 19 holiday lodges and two mobile camping pods.

Councillors have refused a scheme for five holiday lodges at Faddiley near Nantwich despite planning officers recommending it for approval.
Mark Wetton sought permission for four new holiday lodges and to convert an existing building to a lodge at Sevenoaks, Hearns Lane.
