Sadly the biggest and most economically deprived town in the borough, Crewe, does not get a look in.

A case of someone with Coronavirus has been confirmed in Cheshire East, authorities said today.
It’s believed to be the first case in the borough.

Nantwich Town manager Phil Parkinson was delighted with how his squad started pre-season with a 6-1 win away at Audley FC.

Nantwich Town were narrowly beaten by FA Cup heroes Macclesfield Town in their Cheshire Senior Cup clash. The Dabbers lost 2-1 at Moss Rose, despite Steve Foster’s strike giving them a 1-0 half-time lead.
Nantwich CC 1sts returned to winning ways with an eight-wicket victory at Macclesfield in scorching heat. The hosts were bowled out for 149 in 51.3 overs, as bowlers Jimmy Warrington and Oliver Griffiths ripped through their order.
Defending champions Nantwich CC were held to a draw in their opening Cheshire Premier League match. The Whitehouse Lane club, bidding for a fourth successive title, posted a solid 229-6 as they batted first.
Nantwich CC 1sts battled to a tremendous 19-run victory away at Hyde to keep their title hat-trick hopes alive. The win against third-placed fellow title contenders earned Nantwich 25 valuable points as they continue a good run of form.
