A Nantwich man has been found guilty of putting lives at risk by illegally carrying out gas work at three homes. Duncan Johnstone, 52, was prosecuted by the Health and Safety Executive after he worked while pretending to be a registered gas fitter.
A man has been charged in connection with an alleged robbery at a South Cheshire off licence. The 28-year-old man has been charged following an investigation into the incident at Bargain Busters on Edleston Road, Crewe.
Two men, including one from Nantwich, are to be charged with the murder of John Iveson, Cheshire Police revealed. Mr Iveson (pictured) disappeared from his home town Nantwich in January 2007, aged 36, and has never been seen since.
