Organisers of the Holly Holy Day event staged to celebrate the 1644 Battle of Nantwich are gearing up for another massive event this weekend. Full details of everything on offer this Saturday (January 21) have been released as thousands are expected to flood into the town.
Organisers of Nantwich’s Holly Holy Day 2012 have unveiled a host of entertainment for January’s annual celebration. Willaston-based community group The Funky Choir will be one of many acts performing live in the town square to add to the atmosphere of the event.
The future of Holly Holy Day celebrations in Nantwich could be in doubt after next year’s event, organisers warned today. The re-enactment of the Battle of Nantwich celebrates its 40th anniversary when it takes place on January 21 next year.
