By Jonathan White Music fans flocked to a Nantwich pub this weekend for a Bank Holiday live music bonanza. The Boot and Shoe pub, on Hospital Street, put on a series of bands on three nights in a marquee in the pub grounds.
A Nantwich shopper has donated thousands of CDs and books to the town’s Oxfam store in Pepper Street. The huge bequest was made by a long-standing customer of the shop, which specialises in music and literature.
A Nantwich pub has agreed a sponsorship deal to help promote its forthcoming music festival. The Railway Hotel has teamed up with Blue Bell Crewe to stage the “Keep Music Live” festival at the venue during Easter weekend.
