Nantwich Litter Group will be making a New Year clean sweep with a group litter pick on January 9. The team of volunteers are targeting Middlewich Road and Beam Heath Way area for their first “group pick” of 2013.
Leighton Hospital volunteers have been thanked as part of a 40-year celebration. Volunteers from groups who work alongside Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust staff, attended the event.
Nantwich Litter Group will be holding a “Group Pick” on Tuesday July 3 on Barony Park. Volunteers are asked to meet at 10am in the car park on Barony Road and make a clean sweep around the area.
Salvation Army Trading Company Ltd’s charity shop in Nantwich is appealing for volunteer drivers to help collect donations. The store on Beam Street needs help to collect from people in the local area who are unable to get to the shop.
