Nantwich Museum is staging two festive events as the Christmas holidays begin.

There is a Children’s Workshop tomorrow (December 20) where youngsters can enjoy Christmas craft and quizzes.

It is a drop in workshop at the Pillory Street museum between 11am and– 3pm. Story-time will take place at 11am and 1pm.

The cost is £2 per child who must be accompanied. Large groups are requested to book in advance.

On Saturday December 21, Christmas Family Fun Day takes place between 11am and 4pm.

There will be craft stalls including Christmas cards and decorations, a bookstall, lucky dip, quizzes and a raffle.

The Wistaston Singers will entertain with a selection of Christmas carols between 11.30am and 1.30pm. Refreshments will be available.

Visitors to the museum are invited to bid for a hamper donated by Mornflake which will go to the highest bidder for Christmas.

The museum is also pleased to acknowledge the donation of a Christmas tree by Xmas Tree 2U of Pen Lan Farm, Llangollen.

It stands in the foyer and has been decorated by the museum’s craft group.
