A nationally-acclaimed musical comedy is in Nantwich for a one-off performance next weekend.
Piano Recital (Piano Not Included) will be staged at the Nantwich Players Theatre on Love Lane on Saturday April 28, from 7.45pm.
The show, performed by Goldman Ensemble, was a roaring success at the Brighton Fringe Festival and has been delighting audiences around the UK.
Exploring the backstage disasters as well as the daily joys and struggles of professional musicians, it is packed full of comedy, theatre and well loved music everyone will recognise.
It was inspired by a true story in March 2008 when, with less than 30 minutes to go, the pianist who is to perform with the Goldman Ensemble at the prestigious performance had not arrived, stuck in London traffic.
It is written, acted and performed by the Goldman Ensemble, four musicians and actors playing violin, French horn, tuba and percussion.
Tickets are just £10, available from Nantwich Tourist Information Centre 01270 537359, at www.goldmanensemble.com or on the door.
