Joe Longthorne will be at Crewe’s Lyceum theatre next month as part of his sell-out UK tour.
The singer (pictured) has been packing out venues like London Palladium and Royal Albert Hall for 40 years.
Starting his career as a youngster on Junior Showtime, he now has one of the most recognised and powerful singing voices in the country, performing ballad, jazz, blues and rock ‘n roll.
In his latest show, Joe impersonates some of the top stars so well it’s as if they have joined Joe on stage.
His army of fans follow him from venue to venue and it is his own inimitable voice and sense of fun that keeps them coming back for more.
His Lyceum show is on May 10 from 7.30pm, tickets are £20.
On May 13, “Forever in Blue Jeans” will be at the Lyceum from 7.30pm.
The show stars Carole Gordon and Bob Newman, beginning in the 1950s and 60s with rock ‘n’ roll favourites from Jerry
Lee Lewis and Brenda Lee to The Beatles and The Monkeys.
Blue Jeans celebrate 50 years of Motown Magic which takes in hits from The Four Tops, The Jackson 5, Diana Ross and a host of other Motown
favourites.
The Carpenters, Showaddywaddy and Abba bring us into the 70s, and the Red Hot Blue Jeans Band perform instrumentals and the show ends with everyone invited to the party for the grand finale.
