Two venues in Nantwich’s historic Welsh Row are to stage their own festivities over the Easter weekend.
Bosses of The Cat and Firenze have joined forces to stage the “Easter on the Row” between Thursday March 28 and Easter Monday.
They have organised a range of talented performers to play live at the venues on each night, as well as BBQ food and “street” pasta and pizza on the Sunday.
On Thursday (March 28), Acoustic Carl will be playing at The Cat (from 8pm) while popular soloist Samantha Murphy will be on at Firenze (9.30pm).
Good Friday sees swing artist Russell Gibbons live at Firenze from 5pm, and Amy Winehouse tribute act Rachael Roberts will be pulling in the crowds at The Cat from 8pm.
On the Saturday night, singer James Martin is in town at The Cat from 5pm, while three-piece band The Tone Junkies will be rocking the joint in Firenze from 3pm.
Then it’s DJ time later in the evening – with DJ Batman at The Cat from 8pm, and Ollie Birch-Hampson at Firenze from 10pm.
Saxophonist Rosey Quaye will be smoothing the audience during Easter Sunday afternoon from midday, while guitarist Old School Keith will be live at Firenze from 1pm.
The Tone Junkies and The Review are the live band offerings later from 4pm, while the DJs hit the decks once again on Sunday night.
