South Cheshire Ramblers enjoyed an evening walk around the Nantwich Riverside Loop.
The walk around the three-mile ‘Loop’ was led by Paul Boniface, the group’s publicity officer.
Twenty-two people took part and took just over an hour to complete, starting and finishing in Welsh Row.
It takes in sections of the River Weaver, Nantwich Lake and the Shropshire Union Canal.
Everyone was invited to The Black Lion pub on Welsh Row for a general knowledge quiz organised by Paul after the walk.
He said: “I was very pleased with this evenings turn out.
“It was good to see some new faces joining us for a lovely summer evenings walk. All new walkers are welcome.”
Visit the South Cheshire Ramblers website for details on future walks.
