South Cheshire community station RedShift Radio is teaming up with the Crewe Lyceum Theatre to host a festive Christmas Gift Fair.
The event at the theatre will take place on Saturday November 30 from 10am-3pm.
The event promises a day of activities, with stalls by local craftspeople, entertainment and a raffle, backstage theatre tours and guest visits from Father Christmas and his helpers from the Crewe Rotary Club.
Two of the stars of Cheshire’s biggest pantomime – Peter Pan and Tinkerbell – will also be attending the fair.
Young Nantwich actor George Knapper, who plays Peter Pan, and Ceris Hine, who plays Tinkerbell, will make an in-costume appearance at the Crewe Lyceum Theatre’s Box Office to sell tickets for the panto which runs December 14 to January 5.
Free entertainment will take place throughout the day around the theatre.
Performers include VIA Dance Company, the Funky Choir and singer Charlotte Birch.
Christmas Market stalls include gifts for children, babies and pets, local real ale brewers and Christmas decorations.
The lyceum’s behind-the-scenes tours will run every hour and can be booked online or on the day, depending on availability.
Theatre tours will include refreshments. The first 50 visitors to the market will receive a goody bag.
Liz Southall, founder of RedShift Radio, said: “We’re excited to present this festive Christmas day out at the Crewe Lyceum Theatre.
“The theatre is a beautiful space, and it’s fantastic local people have so many different ways to enjoy it.”
