The Brownies are celebrating their centenary with an exhibition in the community gallery at Nantwich Museum.
The display runs until Thursday January 23.
The Brownies, established as the Rosebuds in 1914 by Lord Baden-Powell as a junior section of the Girl Guides, changed their name in 1915.
With the Brownie motto “Lend a hand”, the exhibition illustrates the range of activities they are involved, including their contributions to the 1939-45 war.
It is a chance to learn about the uniforms and badges of the times, the appearance of the famous magic carpet and toadstool and the Brownie promise and smile.
