The popular Teddy Bears Picnic is returning to Cholmondeley Castle next month – to help raise money for a children’s charity.
Organisers are hoping for a record-breaking event by smashing their £10K target when it takes place on August 24 near Nantwich.
The event is now in its fourth year and has a following of hundreds of children and adults.
It is organised by a small group of volunteers in Nantwich who work full time and organise the event in their spare time.
The team has chosen “Stick ‘N’ Step” as their nominated charity, which provides free specialist education and support to children with cerebral palsy and their families and carers.
They welcome children from all over Cheshire, the North West and North Wales.
They fundraise to ensure sessions are free.
The traditional, family fun day out with old school outdoor activities including treasure hunt in the extensive grounds, face painting, Punch and Judy, bouncy castle, hook a duck, dance workshops, arts and crafts and more.
Admission ticket will include access to the grounds which include farm animals, play parks and tea rooms.
