Bridgemere Garden Centre near Nantwich will be hosting a series of fun events for youngsters over half-term.
The ‘Little Diggers Wildlife Week’ at the centre on the A51, runs from May 25 to 29.
On Monday children can meet the experts and talk to them about all manner of wild animals. This is a free event and runs from 10am to 1pm.
On Tuesday, there will be a chance to make your own bug hotel to help attract creepy crawlies to the garden. This activity is £2.50, 11am to 1pm.
On Wednesday, youngsters can get baking and make creepy crawly cupcakes, and squashed fly biscuits. The £5 entry to this includes a drink and activity sheet, 10am to 12pm.
On Thursday, there will be an animal masquerade from 11am to 1pm. Children can make their own masks and plant a creature-friendly plant. Entry for this is £2.50.
And on Friday, the week will finish with a professional story time, with a storyteller entertaining the youngsters. This is £2.50, with a number of different times between 10am and midday.
