win at Corby - Phil Parkinson, Nantwich Town manager, against Stourbridge

Nantwich Town have been awarded with the Evo-Stik Premier Division ‘Club of the Month’ for September.

Unbeaten in the league, Nantwich sit second having recorded four wins and two draws during September.

They have also netted 24 goals in the month to put them top of the goal scoring charts and they have three players among the leading marksmen in the division.

Dabbers manager Phil Parkinson said: “I’m delighted to see the league announce us as club of the month of September.

“The lads have worked hard on and off the pitch and we are bringing meaning to the phrase “value for money”.

“The start we have made has been very pleasing and of course there are things we would like to do better.

“But generally the coaching team and the players deserve a lot of credit and we are
extremely satisfied with how we have started.

“But there is still a long way to go.

“I hope that we are collecting the award for October as well!”

Nantwich will received their award on Tuesday October 13 when the Dabbers entertain
Matlock Town at the Weaver Stadium.

League Operations manager Alan Allcock and a representative from the league will be on hand to present the certificate and the 4.5litre bottle of Bells Whiskey.
