Nantwich Museum’s popular Christmas Fayres featuring handmade goods made by the museum’s craft group will take place on the next two Saturdays, November 21 and 28.

Items for sale in aid of museum funds include a selection of Christmas decorations, bags and cushions.

Holly Fair in Wistaston helps raise more than £1,500

The annual ‘Holly Fair’ at Wells Green Methodist Church on Brookland Avenue in Wistaston raised more than £1,500.

In the entrance hall, there was a raffle to win a hamper of Fairtrade goods, a competition to win two knitted animals and crocheted items for sale made by 100-year-old church member Olwen Wood.
