The Very Best In Stand Up returns to Nantwich Civic Hall on Friday April 1.
Four more top acts from the cream of the international stand up circuit will be live to entertain comedy fans across South Cheshire.
The first act to take to the stage is Steve Gribbin, a diminutive guitar-wielding satirist from Liverpool.
His scabrous comedy songs and off-the-wall observations have made him one of the firm favourites of the comedy circuit.
The next act is fast rising star Kai Humphries.
This happy-go-lucky, supremely funny Geordie comedian and compere has an infectious enthusiasm and high-octane delivery.
This has seen him shooting up the professional comedy ranks.
In May 2010 he recorded his TV debut for Comedy Central’s “The Comedy Store” alongside some of the biggest names in comedy.
Final act is Mike Wilmot, an established comedian in his home country Canada who is making his Nantwich debut.
Mike started working in the UK in 1995 and for over two decades has built up a reputation as one of the unsung heroes of the UK comedy scene.
In 2003 he won the coveted Barry Award at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.
Appearing on ‘Live At The Apollo’ & ‘Never Mind The Buzzcocks’, Mike’s brand of rude, lewd and caustic comedy are a hit wherever he plays.
Compere for the evening is Mark Olver, who’s television credits include Vicar of Dibley, 8 Out of 10 Cats, 10 o’clock Live, Jonathon Ross, Have I Got News For You and Deal or No Deal.
He regularly comperes and headlines for comedy clubs and promoters all over the UK, including Off The Kerb, Avalon, Jongleurs and Highlights.
He has also supported acts such as Russell Howard and Lee Mack on national tours.
The show takes place on Friday April 1, tickets are on sale now priced at £10 from the Civic Hall direct or www.civiccomedy.co.uk
