Bloom sandwich shop in Nantwich won gold in the Best Sandwich Bar category at the Taste Cheshire Food & Drink Awards.
It’s the third year in a row they have won a prize, following a gold in 2014 just 12 weeks after opening, and a bronze in 2015.
At the same awards, Enzo coffee shop in Nantwich scooped silver in the Best Cafe category.
Manager at Bloom Sarah Roberts said: “We’re over the moon to have been nominated by our customers.
“To be mystery dined and awarded gold by the panel of industry judges is testament to all the hard work from our team.
“We’re absolutely delighted!”
More than 30,000 votes were cast by the public in Cheshire’s most hotly contested hospitality awards.
Taste Cheshire General Manager Lisa Edwards said: “Last year we were amazed at getting over 20,000 votes and thought that would take some beating – but the response this year from the public has been amazing.
“It has taken us nearly four days to go through all the votes.
“It really is a triumph for these venues as they have been recognised and voted for by their customer, which is one of the highest tributes they can be paid.”
Nominated businesses were then mystery dined/shopped by industry experts to rank them in gold, silver and bronze.
Those also nominated included Cheerbrook in Best Local Produce Shop, Cheshire Ice Cream Farm in Tattenhall in Best Family Friendly Venue, Enzo in Nantwich in Best Cafe, and Piste in Tarporley in Best Small Restaurant.
The awards presentation took place at the pavilion at Chester Racecourse on March 30.
