Owners of a planned new restaurant in Nantwich have lodged a licence application to Cheshire East Council.
Deadwood Smokehouse Ltd has applied for a new premises licence to open and operate a restaurant on Beam Street.
The licence is for the sale and supply of alcohol, for consumption on the premises, and playing of recorded music indoors, Monday to Sunday 12:00 noon to 22:00 hours.
The restaurant, run by Luke Bevis and Aidan Donovan, is planned for the former Escape shop premises on Beam Street.
It promises “A fresh new taste for Nantwich, smoking meat around the clock”.
Mr Bevis said on social media: “I’m extremely proud to announce that myself and Aidan Donovan will be opening our very own restaurant in Nantwich.
“It’s been a lifelong dream and I couldn’t be happier.
“Thank you for all the support from close friends and family it’s been a massive roller-coaster to get here.
“Looking forward to unveiling our Smokehouse late November.”
Anyone wishing to make representation in relation to the application can write by 21st October 2016 to The Licensing Section, Cheshire East Council, Municipal Buildings, Earle Street, Crewe, CW1 2BJ.
