The authors of “Slow Travel Cheshire” will be holding a talk and book-signing event at Nantwich Museum.
Kate Simon and Suzanne King will be speaking about their new book on Saturday August 4, from 2pm, at the Pillory Street venue.
There will also be a chance to meet authors who will sign copies of their book.
“Slow Travel Cheshire” is the latest in the Bradt “slow travel” series providing local, characterful guides to Britain’s special places.
The guides follow in the steps of the slow food movement, aiming for a sedate approach enabling visitors to gain an in-depth knowledge of the places they visit and not simply scratch the surface.
The guide aims to get to the heart of the county, revealing its myths and traditions, and telling the fascinating stories of the people who live here.
The 304-page guide is available from the museum shop at a cost of £12.99.
