The annual Wistaston Duck Race and Children’s Model Boat Race will take place on September 8.
The popular event sees hundreds of villagers gather at the Joey the Swan recreation ground in Wistaston.
Stalls open from 1pm, and the Children’s Model Boat Race starts at 2.30pm.
The Duck Race starts at 3.15pm.
Duck Race tickets are £1 each (available on the day). The event is organised by members of the Wistaston Community Council.
The main sponsors are iWear Opticians – an independent opticians based in Nantwich and Tarporley.
A representative from Wistaston Community Council said: “Please come and support this event.
“We hope that it will be a quacking success and raise much needed money for the local community!”

POSTPONED UNTIL THIS SAT 15TH – Duck Race and Children’s Model Boat Race due to take place last Saturday at Joey the Swan recreation ground, Wistaston has been postponed due to bad weather (it’s not nice weather for ducks).
