Willaston White Star left it very late to beat Faddiley 2-1 in the Crewe Sunday Regional Premier Division.
The visitors took the lead soon after half time through Derice Richards.
Star equalised with a goal from Pavel Abramowicz and were awarded a penalty kick late in the game, which was missed.
However, in the dying seconds, Paul Roberts netted the winner for the home side.
Betley had a good 4-2 win at Crewe Athletic with goals from Chris Towers, Jamie Baker, Simon Roberts and Keiron Duckers. Josh Dunne and Matthew Birchall scored for Crewe Athletic.
The Lions were too strong for NHB, winning 5-0.
Michael Chesters came on as a first half substitute, and netted a hat trick, with Danny Roberts scoring the other two goals.
Both goalkeepers saved a penalty kick.
In Division One, AFC Talbot dropped their first points of the season when they could only draw 2-2 with new boys Winnington Sports Club, who were reduced to 10 men.
Lee Jones and Dan Bebbington scored for the home side, with Jordan Sherlock and Jack Duffy on target for Winnington.
Broadhurst FC made it four wins in four games by beating Audlem 4-0 and now lead the table.
Dom Johnson (2), Dan Griffiths and Euan Jamieson netted for the home side.
C & N Utd. picked up their first point of the season with a 3-3 draw at Sydney Arms.
But they will be disappointed that it was not all three points, as they were 3-0 ahead with goals from Rees Bennett (2) and Mark Green.
Sydney Arms fought back well with goals from Ben Reddock, Aaron Davies and Charlie Maines.
JS Bailey got their first points of the season with a fine 5-1 victory over Nantwich Pirates, thanks to goals from JJ Bailey, Nick Raymond, Liam Challinor, Alex Akrigg and Ben Stockton.
Lewis Jackson scored the Pirates goal.
Talbot have had a quiet start in the League, but they travelled North to Wythenshawe in the first round of the Cheshire FA Sunday Cup and pulled off an excellent 4-2 win over South Manchester Athletic.
It was thanks to a Jordan Bennion hat-trick and a further goal from Scott Rankine.
