Athletes take on Cheshire Triathlon in wind and rain

Hardy athletes battled strong winds and rain to compete in the Cheshire Triathlon in Nantwich, writes Jonathan White.

Hundreds took part in a 200 or 500m swim in the outdoor brine pool, a 20km bike ride, and finishing with a 2.5km or 5km run around Barony Park.

The second Alzheimers 100 charity cycle ride will take place in Nantwich on June 7.
