Ride to Remember raises £360 for dementia garden at Leighton Hospital

Hospital staff in South Cheshire took part in the ‘Ride to Remember’ and helped raise more than £360 for a dementia-friendly garden.

Trust staff at Leighton Hospital, Victoria Infirmary, and Elmhurst Intermediate Care Centre cycled on a stationary bike for 10 minutes.

Swirly Whirlys, on Pillory Street, which specialises in crepes and ice cream, will close in March, it has been announced.

There were two Santa Dash distances – one lap of 2.5 kilometres or two laps of five kilometres – which both followed the same route around the town centre.
