A 16-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of section 18 assault in connection with a stabbing incident in Crewe.

Police say the teenager was arrested yesterday (November 25) and remains in custody.

Cheshire PCC secures more than £300,000 to prevent domestic abuse

A new scheme that works with perpetrators of domestic abuse to change their behaviour and protect families will be developed in Cheshire.

The scheme will be funded by the Home Office after Cheshire’s police and crime commissioner David Keane secured £233,000 in funding from their perpetrator programme fund.
