A Nantwich cartoonist has been stunned at the popularity of his new Cartoon Academy workshops for youngsters.
Mark Wilcox has hosted a number of workshops for children aged between 4 and 11 at venues like Tastebud Cafe in Stapeley and Enzo coffee shop in Nantwich town centre.
A new exhibition by U3A Photography has opened in the Community Gallery at Nantwich Museum.
The exhibition showcases work by members of Crewe & Nantwich U3A Photography Group, and runs until Saturday April 11.

The event will be staged at Nantwich Civic Hall, on Market Street, on Saturday February 28.
A model railway club in Nantwich is on the right track to success – after doubling its membership in its first year!

Nantwich Saturday Night Sequence Dancers have raised another £1,000 for Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research.
The dance group raises money for two charities each year.
The RSPCA centre in Nantwich is staging its Christmas Fair in Stapeley tomorrow (November 30).
The event, at the wildlife centre and cattery on London Road, will run from 11am to 3pm.
St Mary’s Church in Nantwich will be hosting an event called “Christmas with the Nantwich Singers” on December 13.
The programme will include music from the 16th century (Guerrero and Victoria) through to the 21st Century (Will Todd and Alan Bullard).
Nantwich Museum is holding a drop-in day to gather information about local societies and leisure groups which could be used in its forthcoming Nantwich at Play exhibition.
The museum’s research group is assembling and analysing information for possible use in the exhibition.
Fitness fans can take advantage of free Zumba and Gentle Pilates classes being held at Nantwich Parish Rooms.
The free classes will be held this Friday November 21 and next Friday November 28.

South Cheshire George Formby Ukulele Society has celebrated its 20th anniversary at a concert in Wistaston Memorial Hall.
The event included group and solo ukulele performances, a harmonica solo, plus solo and duet singing.
