Car parking charges in Nantwich could be cut amid plans by Cheshire East Council to “better support local towns and businesses”.
Council chiefs say the review into parking charges will include consultation with the town centre’s retailers.
Nantwich traders are backing a pilot scheme to allow shoppers to redeem the cost of their carpark ticket in town stores. The two-part ticket scheme has been put together by Nantwich Flourish and the Nantwich Local Area Partnership.
Nantwich Litter Group’s next day of action takes place on Wednesday October 17. The team of volunteers will meet outside Nantwich Civic Hall at 10am for a “group pick”.
