Timber firm TFC has helped Leighton Hospital Children’s Centre stay on track – by donating this amazing Timber Train!
TFC Supplies Ltd donated the train for the outside play area at the hospital, following its recent £1.1m refurbishment of the children’s ward.
Young Crewe and Nantwich patients at Leighton Hospital are benefiting from a more colourful stay following a £1.1m refurbishment.
The hospital’s Paediatric Assessment Unit, Ward 16, has been transformed in a year-long project, which is part of a wider plan to refurbish all of the hospital’s wards.
More than 50 children attended a fundraising event held at Playworld in Shavington – with pyjamas on and ready to party!
The event, organised by mum-of-two Caroline Lowther, raised £240 for the Children’s Ward at Leighton Hospital.
Nantwich cricketing star Jonny Kettle went through the pain barrier to help donate presents to poorly youngsters in hospital. Jonny and fellow staff at County Insurance decided to raise money for Leighton Hospital with a sponsored chest wax!
