A new Clinical Research Unit has opened to help Leighton Hospital staff support more studies that improve care for patients.
The Trust received £40,000 of funding from the Clinical Research Network – North West Coast to create the facility at Leighton.

A new clinical trial is looking for people in Cheshire with osteoarthritis to take part in a £1.6 million investigation.
The project aims to find out if an appropriate knee brace could help reduce pain and be good value for money for the NHS.
