Customers of the Co-operative Bank have hit out at a decision to close the Nantwich branch.
Hundreds of customers have received letters from the company warning them that the branch on High Street will close on April 18.
Ram raiders drag cashpoint machine through Nantwich shop window
Raiders tried to drag a cashpoint machine out of a Nantwich store after ramming the front with a land rover.
The crooks attached a heavy-duty 20ft chain to the machine in the Stapeley Co-operative store on Cronkinson estate.

RBS and Co-operative Bank staff in Nantwich are helping to raise thousands of pounds for Mid Cheshire Hospitals Charity’s MRI Scanner Appeal.

Pupils at a school near Nantwich have raised enough money to fund a life-saving defibrillator to be based on site. Tarporley High School students were given one final donation by First Responders in the village to afford the machine.

Pharmacies across Nantwich and Crewe have teamed up with Age UK Cheshire in its local campaign “Let’s Talk Money”. The project aims to reduce pensioner poverty in Cheshire by joining forces with pharmacies across the county to spread the word.
Band concert at Brine Leas School will feature Willaston pupils
A fund-raising concert is taking place at Brine Leas School in Nantwich in aid of Alder Hey Children’s Hospital. The event features The Co-operative Junior & Beginner Wind Bands and pupils of Willaston Primary School.
