Cheshire Police’s Crime Commissioner is on the lookout for dog-loving volunteers to help ensure police pooches are being treated correctly.
Volunteers will make unannounced visits to kennels to observe, comment and report on conditions Cheshire Constabulary’s dogs are housed.

A former police officer who worked in the force’s complaints department believes the roll-out of body-worn cameras for Cheshire’s officers is money well spent.
