Drink driver jailed for 7 years for killing Tarporley dad David Dutton

A drink driver was jailed for seven years today after she killed a dad as he walked home from a pub in Tarporley, near Nantwich.

Samantha Roberts, 25, was found guilty of death by careless driving after her car smashed into David Dutton and his son Gavin.

The family of a man who died in a road collision in Tarporley have paid tribute to ‘a loving father and grandfather’. David Dutton, 51, was walking along Eaton Road with his son Gavin, 25, from Nantwich, when there was a collision with a Nissan Micra.
