Broadband company LilaConnect has started work on updating fibre connectivity in Nantwich and Crewe.
Construction is now underway in Stapeley with the aim of providing all homes and businesses access to a gigabit full fibre open access network by the end of 2023.
Following a plan from internet provider Openreach, work will soon be underway for the installation of a greater fibre network for homes and businesses in Nantwich.
Scheduled to begin in August of 2021, the fibre network is expected to see a gradual rollout until complete availability in late 2024.
Openreach has outlined plans to make ultra-reliable and gigabit-capable full fibre broadband available to homes and businesses in Nantwich and other Cheshire towns.
