Horsemanship skills taught by a Nantwich college went under the spotlight in a BBC Countryfile programme today (January 20). Presenter Adam Henson, guest of honour at Reaseheath College’s graduation last term, delivered four of his rare breed Exmoor foals to the college’s Equestrian Centre.
Workers at a Nantwich abattoir have had licences revoked after an undercover film showing treatment of horses being slaughtered. The film, made at the Red Lion abattoir at Broomhall, near Wrenbury, shows images of horses being beaten and neglected.
Equine students from Nantwich were caught horsing around at their popular annual Christmas show! The students from Reaseheath College organised a show to make sure that the term finished with some Yuletide cheer.
