Popular pub The Leopard has licence amended after complaints

A popular Nantwich pub has had its licence amended after a committee ruled it was “undermining the prevention of public nuisance objective”.

The Leopard, on London Road, will now have to remove speakers from its “Hunter’s Hideout” building immediately.

Popular Nantwich pub The Leopard is to have its premises licence reviewed following noise complaints about a covered external dining and drinking area.

Cheshire East’s licensing sub-committee will meet next week to hear complaints from residents regarding noise from the Hunter’s Hideout at The Leopard on London Road.

A popular Nantwich pub is facing a planning enforcement investigation after it emerged its new “second bar” does not have planning permission.

Residents living on the boundary of The Leopard pub, owned by Joules Brewery, have complained about noise and privacy invasion from “The Hunter’s Hideout” which opened in April.
