A “Town Board for Crewe” has been created with the aim of developing proposals for up to £25 million in Government funding for the town.
The Board also aims to help deliver other projects in the pipeline, including the Town Centre regeneration and the HS2 station, to ensure all are aligned to the same vision.
Students at Cheshire College – South & West have celebrated their annual awards at the college’s Crewe campus.
Celebrating the achievements of learners over the past 12 months, 33 individual awards were presented in front of parents, family, friends, college colleagues and employers.
‘Cheshire College – South and West’ has been announced as the new name for South Cheshire College/West Cheshire College.
The college, which has campuses in Crewe, Ellesmere Port and Chester, has unveiled a new brand identity to its students and staff.
Top Crewe and Nantwich students celebrated honours at the South and West Cheshire College annual awards night.
There were 34 individual awards presented to students studying a range of academic and vocational courses from A Levels to Access courses at the newly formed college.
South Cheshire College has been praised by Ofsted inspectors following its latest inspection.
An inspection team observed classes and college activities, met with students, employers and stakeholders as part of the visit.
