A driver who died in a car accident on Marsh Lane in Nantwich has been named locally as Rob Brereton, Mr Brereton’s wife Mandy was seriously injured in the accident when the car collided with a tree close to the junction with Queen’s Drive.
Police investigating the death of a Nantwich man in a road smash are trying to trace a motorist seen driving nearby at the time. A 36-year-old man died after his Kia car left the road at Marsh Lane, near the junction of Queen’s Drive, Nantwich, and hit a tree.
