A Nantwich man’s parked works van was badly damaged after a car smashed into it in the early hours before the driver fled the scene.
Paul Sun was woken by the crash in the early hours of Sunday outside his home on London Road, Nantwich.
A visitor to Nantwich Spooktacular was given a big fright when their parked car burst into flames.
The incident happened on Welshmans Lane at around 10pm last night (October 28).
Nantwich Police say they are investigating several reports of a man acting suspiciously near to parked cars.
The incidents happened in the Birchin Lane area of the town.
