Superheroes Picnic returns this Sunday June 17 after raising a staggering £12,000 for local causes last year including the hospice and Ray of Hope, which supports the maternity and neonatal wards at Leighton Hospital.
Plans are underway for the return of charity money-spinner Superheroes Picnic in the grounds of Dorfold Hall in Nantwich.
The event, which returns on June 17, raised £12,000 for local causes last year including the Donna Louise Children’s Hospice and Ray of Hope, which supports the maternity and neonatal wards at Leighton Hospital.
Superheroes took over at Dorfold Hall in Nantwich for a special day out which raised a staggering £10,000.
More than 1,000 people flocked to the Superheroes Picnic in aid of The Donna Louise Children’s Hospice and Ray of Hope.
Fundraisers who helped pay for a new neonatal unit for Nantwich and Crewe families have seen plans for the project. Donors to the Mid Cheshire Hospitals Charity’s One in Eleven Appeal were invited to Leighton Hospital to view plans for the new unit.
Crewe and Nantwich Round Table has raised £2,000 for the One in Eleven Appeal to boost neonatal facilities for Cheshire babies. Their efforts will help the Mid Cheshire Hospitals charity towards its £1 million target to create a new neonatal intensive care unit at Leighton Hospital.
