The Audlem Christmas Lights switch-on took place in the village with a host of entertainment on offer.
A choir from Audlem St James’ Primary School performed on the steps of St James’ Church and a brass band performed outside Williams’ Newsagent.

A special music event took place near Nantwich to help raise money for the RNLI.
‘Lifejam’ was the idea of former Audlem resident Reuben Palin and took place to raise money for a new £8.5 million RNLI Lifeboat Station in St David’s, Wales.
The RNLI Lifejam Charity Festival takes place in Audlem near Nantwich this weekend.
The musical event, organised by Overwater Marina near Nantwich, aims to help raise funds for the RNLI St David’s Boat House Appeal.
By Jonathan White Hundreds of visitors enjoyed the outdoors at the Audlem RNLI Festival at OverWater Marina near Nantwich. Entertainment was staged during the two-day event which grows in popularity every year.
Nantwich charities have been awarded a slice of £5 million raised by Yorkshire Building Society Charitable Foundation. More than £48,000 will go to good causes in Nantwich as 15,000 charities across the UK benefit.
