Music lovers are invited to an intimate evening of live music with local vocalist Megan Lee who brings her talents to St Mary’s Church in Acton.
The fundraising event “Megan Lee in Concert” will take place on Friday 6th February 2026, starting at 7pm.
St Mary’s Church in Nantwich has received a £1,500 donation towards its restoration works.
The contribution to The Nantwich Parish Church Preservation Appeal Trust will support its efforts to repair and restore the church.
Youngsters from Nantwich, Acton, Willaston, Sandbach, Madeley and more are coming together to share some festive joy and music.
They will be performing a concert at 7pm this Saturday 6th December at St Mary’s Church in Nantwich which will feature pianists, bellringers and singers aged 5-15.
Twenty-five lucky families in Nantwich will get the chance to build a new home for a bird or bat family this week.
The one-off Bird/Bat Box making session takes place this Thursday July 31 between 1:30-3:30pm at St Mary’s Parish Rooms, Nantwich.
Egerton Strings are back to perform another St Mary’s Nantwich candlelight concert.
They’ll be performing this Saturday March 22, called “Broadway in Concert”.

An inaugural ‘Acton Movie Night’ will take place in Acton near Nantwich on Friday September 6.
The event, a 7:30pm start, will be held in Acton Parish Hall on Chester Road.
St Mary’s Nantwich has launched a £400,000 appeal to restore parts of the “Cathedral of South Cheshire”.
The grade 1 listed building is seen as being of “exceptional architectural and historic interest”.

A charity concert at St Mary’s Church in Acton has helped raise vital funds for the ‘Mary’s Meals’ charity.
The concert featured Mary’s Meals musicians – Caroline Morris, Jane Alcock, John Rowell, Tracey-Anne Green, Elfin Bow – who performed a mix of classical baroque music and folk songs.

The event will take place on Saturday May 25 starting at 7pm.
Nantwich Historical Society has launched its new season with the next meeting scheduled for Wednesday November 1 from 7.30pm.
The society seeks new volunteers for its committee, with positions to suit the experience and interests of new members.
