By Jonathan White A local singing group is hoping to unearth new singing talent in the Nantwich area. The Wistaston Singers are on the lookout for new members, particularly new sopranos and tenors.
By Jonathan White Wistaston Singers took their talents on the road when they travelled from South Cheshire to South Shropshire. They performed an evening concert in Ludlow at the Methodist Church in Broad Street.
Wistaston Singers Choir Concert is taking place on Saturday November 19 at Nantwich Methodist Church in Hospital Street, Nantwich. The concert is in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care and will start at 7.30pm. Doors open at 7pm.
More than 100 people watched the Wistaston Singers choir perform a concert at St Mary’s Church in the village. Phil Houghton was musical director and also introduced each song and soloist during the event watched by 120 people on Saturday night (October 15).
