New Nantwich Town boss Danny Johnson has made another signing, bringing in midfielder Mark Jones.
The 27-year-old arrives at the Weaver Stadium from Radcliffe Borough, where he was captain for the last three seasons.
Jones, who can also play at centre half or right back, played over 250 games for Radcliffe and also played for Witton Albion and Bradford Park Avenue.
His impressive performances last season caught the eye of Dabbers manager Johnson, who believes he is ready to step up to the challenge of the Evo-Stik Premier Division.
“I have known about Mark for some time,” said Danny.
“He has had an outstanding season and possesses the qualities and attitude to make an impact at this level.
“I am sure the Nantwich supporters will make him welcome and like his no nonsense style.”
Johnson is also delighted that Niall Maguire is staying at Nantwich.
“He has a great attitude to the game and my first impression is that he will fit straight into the way I like to run my football team,” added Johnson.
“I am really pleased and excited that Niall has agreed to stay at the club next season and I look forward to working with him.”
However, Josh Lane has decided to leave the Dabbers.
