Dozens of business owners from Nantwich and Crewe enjoyed a Brilliantly British Bazaar event staged at Stapeley House.

Local companies gathered to listen to presentations by some of the area’s best up and coming firms.

It marked the opening of Stapeley House as a business centre and the launch of its “Work From Stapeley” hot desk service.

And it also helped to bolster supplies for the Nantwich Foodbank, the chosen charity of Stapeley House.

Mayor of Nantwich Cllr John Lewis opened the event, before talks were given to a packed audience.

Jane Emery, of Nantwich Foodbank, outlined the project so far after six months in operation.

Ben Grant, of Delamere Land and Property Services, outlined his business as the agent for the Stapeley House site, off the A51 London Road.

Other speakers included Jamie Stewart, who heads up MomentumFactor in Nantwich, a social media branding company, and Lynsey Edwards of trCreative, a young and successful design agency.

Jane paid tribute to Sue Pritchard, head of Stapeley House, for helping to provide free storage for Foodbank donations.

Delegates were also treated to drinks and refreshments in a garden marquee, and a game of croquet on the lawn!
